Old Gibson Ripper Bass refret – Customer wanted to keep some of the old fingerboard stains to keep it authentic, so we radiused and clearcoat it to protect it, carved a nice vintage bone nut, gave it a setup and there you have it! A big job, but done within a week since it had to be expedited. Next!

U-Bass (ukulele-size acoustic/electric bass) headstock re-glue. Customer already has his replacement, but didn’t want to throw out the broken one. Obviously! It went together nicely, a little satin lacquer, quick adjustment, and voilà – a backup U-bass
Passive to Active total rewire on a ’69 Fender Jaguar Bass. Took a bit of work removing the active module, but this beast is now fully loaded – all the switches work perfectly with the new Bartolinis, opening a super wide range of tones. Happy customer, happy Bas!

Do you notice the reflection of light continuing from the glossy body thru the frets? This is our high polish fretjob.
Even though this is a high end G&L GUITAR, its fret ends have become sharp due to weather and age. Not only did we do the corner filing to fix this but we also gave it a fret polish from hell with a fine paper & even finer liquid cutting compound.
