If your pickups are noisy, shielding with copper tape can help. We also shielded the back cavity on this one, and then soldered ground wires to the bridge. Looks simple but it takes a lot of time – a job badly done can make things worse. NO MORE HUM!! bas

Pickup swap from 2013 Gibson to older Epiphone

Pickup swap from 2013 Gibson to older Epiphone & vice versa.
The Epiphone has electronics that we’ve all seen on electrics, 4 pots, standard wiring. The 2013 GIBSON has a circuit board instead, with quick clip circuit connectors.
We tried to convert the wires first…no dice, so we decided it would be easiest to just remove the whole circuit board harness before re-wiring the whole guitar with 500k Gibson vol pots and 300k tone pots, jack & switches. Changed his capacitors too!
Customer was stoked with the sound and service!

Smallest and lightest tuners in the world!
Image
Gotoh Stealth model machine heads are the smallest and lightest tuners in the world. The housings are approximately 1/10th the size of traditional tuners allowing more freedom in the size and layout of the headstock design. Advanced materials are used throughout including lightweight aluminium, strong and durable stainless steel and brass for smoothness of adjustment. The combination of a tiny housing and technologically advanced materials leads to a massive reduction in weight of 50-70% allowing for a lighter and more balanced instrument. GET THEM AT BASONE!
